Though there are both a rarer 7x50 Polaris Finder Scope and the more common, right-angled 8x50 Polaris Finder Scope, it is the 8x50 model that popularized the ease-of-use for properly polar aligning your fork-mounted C8; a practice that would be traditional with Celestron up until the 1st gen, Losmandy-built CG Ultima series of the later portion of the 1990s.
