historical clarinet ca 1810-1850 5-key, boxwood (?) complete, some cracks, the ferrules are some sort of lacquer (?),it is 23 inches long from beak to bell bottom, the barrel has a crack, the bell has a crack, inside the bell is a triangle with what looks to be 6ZX and below in very fint letters 1080. while it had originally 5 keys, one key was removd and the tone hole plugged, by whom or when is up to guessing. I was unable to see any makers mark,.I am basing the dating on varoius similar museum examples. shipped ground insured. any questions, send an email.
