The batteries eventually die, but they are cheap and easy to find. They are CR1025 batteries. They will slowly lose battery, and will start flashing you. 1 - Normal front cover lenses, 2 - Back cover lenses with holes so you can adjust the lens while welding, 3 - Back cover lenses.
