New but packaging is a bit beat up. Three sets of drumsticks came in original packaging in a store close out auction of other toys. I do not play guitar hero or Rock band and know next to nothing about either one so sorry cannot be much help with questions! You will receive exactly what is shown in the photos. As I said, I have three of them all the same. I took pictures of all three as well as the information from the back of them so you can see for yourself what you are buying. Thanks for looking!
