Antique vintage cast iron metal base part for floor or table lamp. Footed octagonal geometric shape, gold / brass tone paint finish. Victorian Art Deco style with intricate, ornate openwork pattern. Filigree, lattice & fan design with raised, swirled center. Threaded mounting hole opening: 5/8" inch. 8 3/4" across corner to corner. 7 1/2" wide across the middle. 2" high at center. Weight: 2.6 pounds. Very good antique condition, minor wear to paint finish, patina on underside. Bottom edge on one side has flaws in the casting, as made. See photos.
