Manufactured in June 2000, this guitar falls between the Cunetto (1995-98) and the Masterbuilt (2003) eras. John Cruz was Fender's most popular and qualified Master Builder. He was tutored by Vince Cunetto in "neck shaping" and the art of relicing.
