I purchased this Macbook brand new in 2012. Used it since and never had any issues, Its been fully serviced several times by Apple. Its had the hard drive upgraded to 500GB SSD which is much faster then the conventional hard drive. The CD Drive has been removed to make it lighter to carry. It comes with a new charger and new sleeve carry case. The battery health is still pretty good. Considering its over 13 years old, its performance is still pretty high.
