Remove cubes all the way to the bottom of the case (otherwise your lid wont close). A knife/box cutter works really well to cut and shape the foam to your needs. if your slabs are extra long (theres tons of different sizes) you may have to trim the lid layer of foam or consider storing them on the side rather then upright.
