I do not know the history of this gong, but it is rather stately. It looks fabulous, is clearly old and has the added bonus of being easily disassembled for movement or shipping. The yarn that was holding the gong to the hooks on the stand was dry rotted and broken. In my pics I used a thin piece of wire, which I have removed and am not shipping with the gong. It will need a piece of leather or twine or some other material to attach the gong. I will disassemble for secure shipping. It measures approximately 21" tall by 18" wide when assemble.
