Sold as is. All buttons work, pause button is somewhat difficult to move, tape goes forward and reverse, makes sound but I have not been able to rewind, record, and play back successfully. I’m not an expert on these, so it could be a bad tape, but typically I just rewind, say test while recording, rewind a little and turn the volume up and hear it back. I did not try with headphone, but either it doesn’t read the tape or the external speaker does not work is my guess. Don’t want to mess with trying to fix. Loc:2.4
