A worn example of a late medieval decorated earthenware floor tile. Likely made in Penn, Buckinghamshire - based on the remnants of decoration visible. Part of a larger pattern of tiles. Thick, tactile floor tile. Rough dimensions: 11.5cm x 11.5cm Chipping and losses around the edges and corners. Large areas of surface loss to the front. Decoration mostly worn and missing. Other heavy wear and damage to the tile and decoration. Please make sure to check over the photos carefully.
