Due to the shortness in length and the constant opening of the MacBook it’ll get weak and tear. Or screen will work fine halfway open and then once fully opened your screen will go dark. Best way to fix this is to physically tear the cable and to solder another portion of a spare cable to lengthen the cable to prevent it from being stressed when opening.
