This print shows a composite near-ultraviolet view of Saturn highlighting the Lyman-alpha bulge and the planet's rings which appear much darker than the disk due to lower ultraviolet reflection. The extended ~30° latitudinal bulge north of the equator is about 30% brighter than surrounding regions revealing enhanced hydrogen Lyman-alpha emission.
