It has been tested and does work, however the battery may not last as long as it originally did/should last. If it doesn’t last long enough you could replace it, as it is the original battery. Also it appears it has a small dent in the side of the lens when it zooms out (not the glass lens itself but the metal body) if that makes sense. It does not seem to affect anything, but about 1 out of 10 times when it opens it makes a noise, like it is grinding a bit. Sold as-is no returns, as these issues are stated and made known to the buyer. Please see pics
