Georgeous vintage iridescent blue Morpho butterfly wing chess board surrounded with a beautiful butterfly wing collage boarder, it is under glass and framed with inlay (marquetry) wood design. The butterfly art is exquisite and in very good condition. The marquetry frame is vey nice with only a few minor scratches The piece measures 17”x 17" × 1". This is a beautiful work of art and would make a wonderful gift. This has the original game pieces which were also handmade with wood, wings and reverse painted glass, these are often lost making them very rare to have, especially in they’re cardboard box which would normally have deteriorated, only one game piece is missing.
