Answer: The Sal t Chlorinato r is applicable to all swimming pools within 16,000 Gallons. I have it for my 12,000-gallon pool and I'm super happy with it. Note that the chlorinator doesn't really oppose the flow of water, so it shouldn't affect the pump operation.
