For sale is an Antique Deagan Door Plate Chime Model 500 5 Tone Xylophone Wooden Box. Comes as you see in the photos. Please check the video as well. This is a 5 tone door chime from J.C. Deagan Inc. of Chicago, IL. Tag on back lists 37 patents ranging in date from 1889 to 1919. Wood case measures approximately 8.75" x 9.5". Total weight: 4.45 lbs (2.0 kg). The wood case shows some missing pieces of the veneer on front and back. The tone bars show oxidation. Tested and it works though the left most bar (from the photos) is a bit harder to ring compared to the others - I was using a random screw in the video to ring them, however.
