REGARDING STANDARD HARD DISK DRIVES (HDD): The Shield system software was designed to work with at least a solid state hybrid drive (SSHD). However, we have been performing this upgrade since March 2016 with no failures thus far; our two technicians are very experienced with the work and know exactly what they're doing.
