A large antique colonial carved Mary and Baby Jesus statue which used to adorn a colonial church in the Thika area. It was recovered from a wood pile outside a tribal type hut in that area. It does come with some provenance. Early naive African style carving unique piece. Made from heavy hard wood and Large measuring around 64 cm tall.
