When we tested this in range of a weather station, we were able to receive the signal just fine, meaning that this beauty is a functional piece of history ready for its new life with the right hobbyist, collector, or enthusiast. A gorgeous unit, the Patrolman is the perfect combination of functionality and design. The wood grain veneer on this unit is flawless and its 1970s charm is undeniable. They're not making them like this anymore - literally!
