A gorgeous northern red Oak pantry shaker box/grain measure circa 1860s to 1890s American. It is in great condition, with minimal cracking and gentle wear. Quite truthfully, one of the finest examples I’ve come across. It has a beautiful color. This is a large grain measure that is 11 1/2 inches across and 6.25 inches tall. I believe it to be peck size.
