The item was tested and confirmed working for all basic functions on both the DVD player and VCR functions; play, rewind, fast-forward, stop, pause, eject, and power. Recording with the VCR was tested and works well. The line in composite inputs work well. The line out composite outputs work well. The coax connection was not tested. I did not test any other input / output connections.
