An ORIGINAL CUTTER HOLDING SCREW for a No. 50 combination plane by STANLEY. These were added to the accessories for the No. 50 at the time of the introduction of the 1/8" and 3/16" cutting irons in 1936. The sliding section cannot come close enough to the main body to secure the smaller irons, so the sliding section is removed and this holding screw serves to securely hold the cutting iron.
