All machine bearing surfaces were cleaned and oiled. All gears were cleaned and greased. 2 – I use Breakfree CLP for sewing machine oil. For gears, I use a light film of white lithium grease. When you receive this machine, it will be ready to sew, and will not need to be oiled or greased for at least eight hours of continuous operation.
