It is a Chinese Wood Rice Grain Measuring and Carrying Box. Have heard them called water carrying boxes as well. Please study the photos in detail as they are certainly the biggest part of the condition statement. It is old and shows some wood damage, scratches, rust as any item that has been used for its intended purpose would be. It is solid! Please ask questions before you bid. Know before you buy!
